Entering Data from the Keyboard

If some data for each trial needs to be entered from the keyboard:

  1. A sample Sampling Options dialog showing keyboard entry selected. The quantity being measured is called "Distance" and it is measured in "m"

    If keyboard entry is enabled, this icon appears in the upper-right corner of the Setup Window.

    Select "Sampling Options..." by:
    1. clicking the button on the left side of the Setup Window, or
    2. selecting "Sampling Options..." from the Experiment Menu.
  2. Check the box labeled "Keyboard" in the lower-left corner of the dialog.
  3. Enter the name of the quantity you will be entering in the "Parameter:" field, and the unit of measurement you will be using in the "Units:" field.
