For Teachers & Parents

Has your child found a great new series and wants to know “What comes next?”

Is she/he struggling to find “something good” to read?

NoveList may just help you with answers!

NoveList is a new feature we’ve added to Alexandria that provides book recommendations. You can find the order of books in a series and ideas for similar titles and authors to books you already like.

Simply use Alexandria Online Catalog to search for a title of a book that you know you like and click on the detail (record) of the book. Scroll down a bit to find NoveList information.

Note: NoveList doesn’t play well with Chrome, but seems to get along with Safari & Firefox.

Need a safe, reliable place to look for answers online?

BCSC has an online subscription to World Book Encyclopedia that is available to all members of the school corporation. We have 6 products: Kids, Student, Timelines, a Spanish version, Social Studies Power and Science Power. You can search from school or from home. Find them on the Links page.

At home you will need a UserName and Password. Call or e-mail me to request them. Also, your child can stop by the library to get the information.
