Purpose:
Demonstrate the "objects at rest" part of Newton's First Law
Equipment:
Tablecloth or sheet, dishes, etc.
Description:
Hints:
- Be sure that the table cloth is smooth.
- Put some slack in the tablecloth, pull suddenly and slightly
downward - not upward.
