Graph Statistics

To
open the graph statistics window, click the statistics button
(
)
in the lower-left corner of the graph window. from the statistics
menu (
),
you can select as many of the following as you wish. The statistics
apply to all points on the graph (even if you have zoomed in
(
)
on a particular region), or to a restricted
region of the graph, if it is selected.
- Count of the data points
- Minimum and/or Maximum of the "x" and "y"
values
- Mean (average) of the "x" and "y" values
- Standard Deviation of the "x" and "y" values
- All of the Above - relatively obvious, don't you
think...
- Curve Fit for the
data
- Integration - area under the graph
- Derivative - slope of the graph
- Histogram - we won't use this a lot in Physics class,
but it's cool.
