For Physics, you will need the following materials:

  1. a textbook (provided as part of your book rental)
  2. a looseleaf notebook (that will hold standard-size 8.5" x ll" paper)
  3. a supply of standard-size 8.5" x 11" notebook paper (for notes, assignments, and labs)
  4. 2-3 #2 pencils (for notes, assignments, tests & quizzes)
  5. a calculator - do NOT go out and buy a super-fancy whiz-bang calculator for Physics! Most any calculator will do, although a scientific calculator would be an advantage. Graphing capability is not needed. If you don't have an old calculator lying around the house, you should be able to find a suitable calculator for $10 or less.
  6. an eraser (for tests & quizzes)
