Dear AP Calculus student,

As an AP Calculus student, you are required to have a graphing calculator. The school will make TI-85 graphing calculators available for a small rental fee, or you may purchase your own calculator. Please be aware that some calculators are not acceptable for use in the course.

Most of the trouble that students have in AP Calculus is due to the fact that they lack a solid understanding of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. If you have the opportunity this summer, it would be a good idea to spend some time reviewing the fundamentals of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Check the library for appropriate reference books, and look over the material at:
