You and your students may use the AppletQuiz applet without payment or royalty of any sort. I would appreciate it, however, if you would let me know (email@example.com) how and where you are using the applet - just for my own information. I will try to let you know about AppletQuiz updates, etc. if I know who you are. Otherwise, I will not "pester" you.
Please report suspected bugs to (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please be as specific as possible. I will get back to you, eventually, if possible. I would also appreciate (constructive) comments and suggestions. (Yes, I am crazy, but No I am not trying to ruin your life...)
Java was designed to be a secure language, so people could run Java applets from the Internet without fear that a malicious applet would do some havoc to their machine. A consequence of this is that applets are not permitted to read or write files to any computer except the one on which they reside. This means that you must have your own personal copy of AppletQuiz on your server, since AppletQuiz must read your question file.
You can download an archive containing the AppletQuiz object code, example html files, and example question files by clicking on one of the following links:
AppletQuiz.zip - 404K (easy to unpack on a PC)
AppletQuiz.sit - 244K (easy to unpack on a Mac)
AppletQuiz.sea - 768K (self-extracting archive for the Mac)
